Agip

Agip

One of my all time favorite logos of all time, the six legged dog representing Agip (now Eni). Here’s a bit about what it’s all about…

Who designed the six-legged dog, which means energy in Italy and in the world? Luigi Broggini never admitted authorship, and certainty about his being the father of the symbol only came after his death.

The trademark is the famous six-legged dog, an “imaginary-real” animal from whose mouth issues a red flame, its left front leg firmly on the ground and the others free in the air, like a car with its brakes on.
